  • BISA INDOOR NATIONALS – ARTISTICS UPDATE

We’d like to provide a clear update regarding the Artistics disciplines at the upcoming BISA Indoor National Championships.

We are aware that some uncertainty and conflicting information has circulated within the community regarding whether Artistics would be taking place.

To be absolutely clear, the Artistics disciplines are going ahead as planned.

We want to ensure that everyone who may have been unsure about entering has a fair opportunity to take part. As a result, we have extended registration for Artistics only until 30th October 2026.

    We can also confirm:

🔹 A live Artistics judge will be on site

🔹 Music is guaranteed for the applicable routines

🔹 We are making every effort to provide lighting to accompany the applicable Artistics routines

If you were considering competing but were unsure due to information you may have heard, we hope this provides the clarity you need to join us.

Artistics is ON — and we would love to see you there! 🙌

We would also really appreciate your help in sharing this update. If you know someone who was considering entering Artistics, or who may have been unsure about whether the disciplines were taking place, please tag them, share this post, or let them know that Artistics at the BISA Indoor Nationals is going ahead.

📅 New Artistics registration deadline: 30th October 2026

We look forward to welcoming our Artistics competitors to the BISA Indoor National Championships!

  • THE NATIONALS ARE GOING AHEAD AS PLANNED!

    📍 Weembi – Lille, France

    📅 5–7 November 2026

But… if you missed the registration deadline and are still thinking about competing, there may still be an opportunity to join us. 👀

Weembi will continue to consider late registrations up to 9 October, subject to available tunnel capacity, scheduling and operational requirements.

🎨 ARTISTICS — WE NEED YOU!

BISA is aware that entries across some of our Artistic categories are currently lower than we’d like, so we’re making a particular push to get more Artistic flyers involved.

As with any competition, individual categories need sufficient entries to make them viable. Where numbers remain very low, BISA and Weembi will need to review whether that individual category can reasonably proceed.

That does NOT mean the Nationals are at risk — they’re going ahead. It simply means we want to give every planned category the best possible chance of being part of the competition.

So, if you’ve been thinking about entering Artistics, now is the time to turn that maybe into an entry. 🙌

    And don’t forget…

🌪️ 2-WAY INTERMEDIATE FREEFLY IS BACK!

We’re bringing this category back to the Nationals to give intermediate flyers a fun, accessible route into competition.

If you’re comfortable flying head-up, grab a teammate and give it a go. We’d love to see enough teams on the start list to get this category back in the tunnel! 🔥

⚠️ Late entries are not guaranteed. Acceptance will be at Weembi’s discretion and will depend on available tunnel capacity, scheduling and operational requirements.

📅 Final opportunity for late entries: 9 October

    Already registered? You’re all set.

Missed the deadline? You’ve still got a window.

Thinking Artistics? We really want to hear from you. 👊

🇬🇧🇫🇷 Lille. 5–7 November. The Nationals are ON. Let’s fill those remaining categories!

  • Important Rule Change – 2026 British Indoor Nationals

📢 We listened to your feedback — and we’re making a change. 👊

Following feedback from competitors, consultation with the community and discussion within BISA, we’ve agreed to update the rule covering competitors who want to fly with more than one team at the British Indoor Nationals.

    The aim is simple:

    🌪️ Increase participation
🤝 Make it easier to build and support more teams, including Guest teams
👂 Respond to what our community has been asking us to consider
    ⚖️ While protecting competitive fairness

    So, what’s changing?

Previously, competing with multiple teams flying the same competition draw meant you could not medal.

From the 2026 Nationals, you can. 🙌

    The new principle is simple:

🏅 SAME DRAW. ONE ELIGIBLE TEAM.

If you fly with multiple teams against the same competition draw, only ONE can be your medal and ranking-eligible team.

1️⃣ Your eligible team must fly first in every round, before any other team you fly with against that draw.

🌪️ You can still fly with additional teams — and there is no fixed limit on how many, subject to competition capacity, scheduling and manifest requirements.

📊 Those additional teams can still compete and have their scores recorded and displayed, but will be ineligible for medals and official ranking.

👥 Where multiple competitors overlap across the same teams, the same one-team eligibility principle applies — their declarations must be consistent.

The rule applies across the relevant team competition levels and classifications wherever the same draw is being flown. It does not affect participation in different draws or solo disciplines.

Why are we making the change?

We want the Nationals to encourage people to compete, build teams and get involved.

We’ve heard from members of the community who felt the existing rule could unnecessarily restrict participation. We also expect to see more Guest teams and want to give flyers greater opportunity to support other teams.

But increasing participation cannot come at the expense of competitive fairness.

That’s why the eligible team must always fly first — ensuring its performance cannot benefit from that competitor having already flown the same round with another team.

Most importantly, we asked the community, listened to the feedback, challenged the proposal and used that feedback to shape the final rule.

The new rule will take effect for the 2026 British Indoor Skydiving Nationals at Weembi, 5–7 November. 🇬🇧🇫🇷

⚠️ Already registered and affected by the change?
    Please contact Weembi to discuss.

📖 The full updated rule will be published shortly.

More opportunity to compete. More opportunity to build teams. Same commitment to a fair competition. 🔥
