What is BISA?
In 2019 British Indoor Skydiving Association (BISA) was incorporated as a company for the purposes of selecting, organising and the administration of UK indoor skydiving delegations to international FAI/IPC indoor skydiving competitions. This means that it is our job to select indoor skydiving teams to represent the UK on the world stage. We do this by holding an annual British Indoor Skydiving Nationals. We also provide FAI sporting licences to those competitors who cannot get one via British Skydiving (i.e. the competitor is not a current skydiver).
BISA operates independently but under the auspices of British Skydiving via an evergreen Memorandum of Understanding which was renewed in 2024. The MoU is reviewed annually but there is no expiration date associated with it.
