Chris has been an active skydiver with extensive formation skydiving experience, including large-scale multi-aircraft formations of up to 258-way, and is a multiple UK National Champion in 4-way formation skydiving across Rookie, A and AA categories. He is also a British record holder in both 4-way formation skydiving and large formation events, and represented the UK as a member of the British 8-way team at the 2025 World Cup.
Alongside his competitive achievements, Chris is a qualified Formation Skydiving coach and an active organiser within the community. He regularly supports athlete development and progression, and runs a monthly 4-way tunnel league at iFLY Manchester, as well as co-organising the annual “North vs South” competition to encourage participation and collaboration across the UK.
As a British Skydiving FS Representative (TEA) and an active competitor, Chris brings a strong understanding of athlete needs, competition structures, judging processes, and safety culture. As a Director of the British Indoor Skydiving Association (BISA), he is committed to supporting the growth and accessibility of indoor skydiving, with a focus on strengthening pathways for athlete development and community engagement.

Outside of skydiving, Chris is a Chartered Mechanical Engineer with over 15 years’ experience in senior leadership roles within the UK rail industry. He has worked in highly regulated, safety-critical environments, providing strategic, governance, and technical leadership across complex, multi-stakeholder projects.
